  • Abstract
    Availability models must include dependent outages to give accurate evaluation, particularly in electric power systems. This paper presents an accurate model, which combines all independent and dependent outages. Comparison of results between this model and another model is included. Extension of the model to evaluate the availability of two-units shared load system is also presented in this paper to cover a wide spectrum of parallel units in electric power system
