Abstract :
The performance of a limiter-discriminator-integrator (LDI) receiver for wideband M-ary FSK systems is evaluated along with the derivation of error probability equations in both static and fading environments. Positive click occurrences are found not to be negligible for symbols with small positive frequency deviation in wideband M-ary FSK systems. The probability distribution of click occurrences is also found to be required for the performance analysis of wideband M-ary systems. The probability distribution of click occurrences for land mobile channels is developed in this paper
