Abstract :
This paper aims to propose an evolution of tolerance requirements for calibrating a reverberation chamber (RC). Instead of the normative threshold of 3 dB, even more for lower frequencies, we propose a confidence interval based on distribution functions of electric field measurements. Moreover, this involves to take into account the number of independent stirrer positions and the number of probe locations, which are defined in the measurement setup. The proposed requirements are based on measurements. We increase the complexity of the study in a progressive manner in order to propose a more realistic confidence interval.
