Abstract :
Geophysical optimized inversion of gravity data using genetic algorithm (GA) still faces some problems. It often divert to the local solution, causing premature convergence. Here, we present an optimized inversion method based genetic algorithm and generalized least squares (GLS) to estimation the model parameters of geological bodies. The synthesized gravity data is given for testing the performance of the proposed method. It outperforms single GA in accuracy and GLS in convergence speed.
