Abstract :
A known low complexity low roundoff noise limit cycle-free second-order state-space digital filter is here revisited. New design strategies to synthesize that filter are discussed, and the results of applying those strategies to some examples are shown. These results support the statement that it is possible to produce a better synthesis to that structure, in the sense of output roundoff noise reduction
