Abstract :
In this paper, the RF exposure of the general public due to GSM, UMTS, and DVB-H is investigated. A methodology to execute field measurements of DVB-H signals is proposed. Measurements are performed at different locations in a DVB-H network in the city of Ghent, Belgium. Electromagnetic field strengths are compared to reference values and the increase of the cumulative electric field strength due to the presence of DVB-H transmitters is assessed.
