Abstract :
The authors introduce an interactive package using microcomputers with full graphic features to assess the performance of IDMT relays for overcurrent protection for distribution system with up to 35 substations and 50 lines in a ring, and a radial or interconnected system with several sources. It provides full range of colour graphic display of the single line of the whole or part of the distribution network and details of CT ratio, relay settings, simulated relay movement for all feeders in any selected substation
