  • Abstract
    A robust audio watermarking technology based on chaotic map and modified Patchwork algorithm is presented. The chaotic sequence is introduced to ensure the security. A portion of DWT coefficients has been modified to make opposite shifts of their statistical characteristic to embedded bit sequence. A binary image has been embedded as the watermark, and can be recovered without reference to the original audio. The usefulness of chaos and privacy of modification to DWT coefficients enhance the security of the algorithm. Experimental results show that this watermarking schema is robust against common signal processing attacks, such as noise addition, filtering, MP3 compression, and it introduces no audible distortion after watermark insertion
