Abstract
In this paper, a study of the adaptive control law applied to a nonlinear system is proposed. From comparing the output between the reference model and the nonlinear system, an error signal can be obtained. Gathering this error signal with other information such as control input and system output, an adaptive controller and the parameter updating law can be constructed. It is shown that the nonlinear system can be stabilized by employing the proposed adaptive controller.
