Abstract
This paper uses the d-q axis theory to develop an inverter-excited vector controller. The inverter will control the exciting current appropriately according to the variation of the wind velocity, and control the output power of induction generator. The system performance is simulated by CASPOC software. A digital signal processor TMS320F240 is used to implement the proposed control algorithms of the inverter-excited vector controller. By the computer simulation and experimental results, the proposed system has been proved to be feasible for standalone induction generator.
