Abstract :
Different approaches of the decomposition of the digital SSB modulation process into a transform processor and a polyphase network are researched. The application of the latest DCT algorithm to established transmultiplexer (TMUX) algorithms and a new approach based on the Hartley transform are presented. It is shown that the resulting structures reduce the total computational requirement in comparison with the most efficient TMUX algorithm published
