Abstract :
We review our recent work on the development of an electrocardiographic tomography imaging (ETI) technology. Three dimensional (3D) distributions of cardiac electrophysiological properties are estimated from body surface EGG signals with the aid of a realistic geometry heart model in which electrophysiological a priori information is incorporated. Computer simulation studies carried in our laboratory demonstrate the feasibility of imaging 3D distributions of activation time and trans-membrane potential using the ETI approach.
