  • Abstract
    This paper studies the Kalman filter combined with the Camshift algorithm to track the target and predict the position. We build the PTZ model to track the target automatically, and propose a specific method on an automatic target tracking algorithm. We use this proposed method to drive the PTZ and adjust the zoom to ensure the target can always display on the video screen center at the same size. Experimental results denote that this method can track the moving target accurately, control the PTZ timely and accomplish automatic target tracking.
