Abstract
A model for use in neural nets is presented. The model is divided into two elements: the line, which includes transmission characteristics, delays, and encoding capabilities, and the junction, which is the comparison element able to make decisions. Elemental automata can be constructed using these kinds of elements, as shown by several examples
