  • Abstract
    There is relatively less research on pier mooring in China, and it mainly depends on the model test. This paper establishes a mathematical model to calculate the mooring ship´s cable tension, which is subjected to small water waves, and then solves the nonlinear moorage equations by means of the Monte Carlo method. After comparing the calculated results with those obtained from the experiment, our method is found to be in good agreement.
