Abstract :
A 100 Mbps DLL-based pulse position modulation generator is presented for impulse-radio ultra-wideband applications. The pulse generator provides a data rate of 100 Mbps and a pulse width of 1ns. To achieve an accurate pulse position and pulse width, a mixed-mode calibration circuit is used to calibrate the output buffer of the DLL. The chip is fabricated in a 0.35mum CMOS process
