Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel Inter-carrier Interference (ICI) cancellation scheme that eliminates ICI entirely in MC-CDMA systems. The proposed ICI cancellation scheme reproduces the same BER as that of the BER of MC-CDMA system without ICI. Frequency offset is calculated iteratively based on the priori error. This scheme makes use of the orthogonality property of the ICI coefficient matrix and offers perfect ICI cancellation and significant BER improvement. In literature there are similar implementations but at the cost of linearly growing complexity or less BER improvement or reduced bandwidth efficiency. The superiority of the proposed ICI cancellation scheme is verified by simulation results.
