Abstract :
Firstly, this paper presents ontology modeling based on the task-space model given previously in a collaborative learning environment. Designing and developing a Web-based collaborative learning system in the light of this model, the key problem of resource management can be resolved at individual levels. In this way, some disadvantages, such as non-uniform knowledge description, inefficiency of knowledge reusability and repeated development, can be overcome and interoperation, flexibility and scalability of the system can be promoted. Then, a multi-phase development method of ontology based on task space model is given. The result of applying it to the construction of a prototype system of Web-based collaborative learning indicates the values of this model and the proposed approach.
