Abstract :
In this paper, a new method is presented to calibration for the errors due to channel amplitude and phase uncertainties in high resolution direction-finding. A significant advantage of this approach is that only one calibration source, whose direction may be unknown, is required. Furthermore, it is suitable to planar arrays of arbitrary geometries and shows fast convergence property. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by some representative computer simulation results.
