Abstract
The paper concentrates on the trends of integrating cellular network with multi-hop network. A new adaptive mode select mechanism which comprises three parts has been proposed. Based on the normalized reference zone calculated by the mechanism, mode selection between multi-hop mode and cellular mode can be executed. Based on simplified simulation analysis, it is verified that the algorithm we proposed can enhance the total throughput and improve the fairness of the network.
