Abstract :
The paper intensively analyzed and researched video playing technology in virtual education environment, which is an application of Pervasive Computing focusing on demand for some important application field with visual technology, proposed a suit of effective settlement making use of decoding, data compressing, texture mapping and the GPU´s parallel computing ability which improved the efficiency of decoding and data compressing greatly and so on, these techniques implemented the controlling and playing video object in visual education scene. It enhanced the practicability and authenticity of the system, settled out the problem which is video playing and interaction; declared that the technology is valuable and significant through the successful application of the technology for simulating multimedia equipment in virtual education environment.
