Abstract :
It is important to improve the switching software development environment. The authors analyse the issues and solve them by grasping the switching software development process from the viewpoint of software representation. As shown, representative charts and diagrams that aid in visualization of the software phase from various types of semantics have been developed and applied. These charts and diagrams are called `views´. Most of these software views have been used to visualize specific processes in the software life cycle, but they are discontinuous. Therefore, the discontinuity of these views hinders the design thought processes (existence of a transformation gap). Further, during verification testing of these processes and functions or performance, the disunion between design and verification hinders the verification processes (existence of an interpretation gap). A view that integrates all processes in the development environment is required. A new visualized environment for software that has overcome the conventional restrictions by using recently developed workstations (WS) is proposed
