Abstract :
Carrier frequency offset (CFO) is a basic problem arising in many digital communication systems. In this paper, we propose a new adaptive blind CFO estimation scheme. Unlike the cyclic moment CFO estimation (batching processing), the CFO is estimated and tracked using the least square adaptive algorithm. Thus, it can fully cancel the CFO influence, and give a CFO-free estimation of the transmitted sequence. Moreover, it has a capability of tracking the time-varying CFO.
