Abstract
Different materials have distinct features in the terahertz spectral range. This paper is mainly about the beam profile of a terahertz laser pumped by a CO2-laser, and absorption of normal materials, such as paper and plastic, at different wavelength. Furthermore, a comparison of the beam quality is made before and after the absorption.
