  • Abstract
    Genome assembly research has been `reborn´ in recent years, in part due to rapid advances in sequencing technologies, but also due to the application of assembly to non-traditional tasks. Here we overview some of the challenges to genome assembly posed by data generated by metagenomic experiments.
