Abstract
In this paper, we present a new transmit diversity scheme for downlink transmission in TD-CDMA system. Because only one receive antenna is needed, the mobile handset is easy to design and costs low. To reduce the computation complexity, the Zero-Forcing (ZF) criteria is invoked to detect the signals. Simulation results show that this new scheme can provide an equivalent substitute for receive diversity scheme with only 3dB penalty.
