Abstract :
In this paper, we present a system for visual representation of speech signals and other sound. It is called the KanNon system. It displays the spectra of the speech signals, i.e. sound spectrograms, which are a 3D representation of the speech intensity in different frequency bands. We show effectively sound spectrograms applying the Burg method and display the common properties of speech signals by different speakers. Finally, we describe the composition of the KanNon system which is a real-time processing system of speech signals
