Abstract :
This paper presents a copyright protection algorithm based on a fusion watermark. An image is analyzed using fractal dimension to select the feature blocks containing edges and textures that are used to form a feature label. The watermark is the fusion of image feature label and a binary copyright symbol. Arnold iteration transform is applied in the construction of the watermark to increase the security. The secure watermark that is adaptive to individual image is then embedded in the feature blocks by modifying DCT middle-frequency coefficients and is saved as a reference during extraction, which does not require the original image. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm can get good perceptual invisibility, adaptability and security. It is also robust against low or high-pass filtering, adding noise and JPEG processing.
