Abstract :
Establish a distributed generation and micro-grid laboratory is one of the key technologies which needed to be solved now. Based on it, realizing the control strategy of micro-grid system can be carried out. This paper describes the characteristics and focus of distributed generation. With the reference of them, the design and configuration of various energy micro-grid laboratory in Tianjin University is analyzed in this paper. In the laboratory, many types of distributed generation and energy storage, such as fuel cells, micro turbines, wind/photovoltaic hybrid generation, super capacitors, flywheel energy storage etc, are integrated and implemented. The achievements and objectives of the laboratory are also described in this paper. In addition, several key issues of laboratory construction are discussed, and the solutions for these issues are proposed in this paper. At last, the experience of laboratory construction is summarized which can provide reference observations for related research of micro-grid in the future.
