Abstract
A novel millimeter FET frequency multiplier is presented. It works in a way similar with the resistive mixer to generate multiple harmonics and adopts proper reflector networks in the input/output networks to improve the performance. The configuration has the great stability characteristic in addition to zero DC power dissipation, and it is not sensitive to the input signal power. The analysis and the preliminary measurement show that the conversion efficiency of -5 dB is obtained, with the output frequency being 35 GHz.
