Abstract :
A kind of uniform beam shaper which is designed using binary diffractive element and for millimeter wave application is studied in this paper. This kind of beam shaper transforms the incident Gaussian beam into quasi-plane beam with uniform amplitude. Finite element method combined with c simulated annealing method is used to design this kind of beam shaper. A kind of quasi-optical beam divider is also studied in J this paper, and this beam divider is used to divide the quasi-plane beam into several beams carrying equal powers. Numerical results of the beam shapers and the beam divider at 94 GHz are presented.
