Abstract :
For the characteristics of the main steam temperature in thermal power station, the novel intelligent serial control system was proposed. The parallel cascade of fuzzy controller and PID controller was used in the main controller of system, the adaptive section was added in the general PD fuzzy control module, the gain adaptive Smith predictive estimator was adopted in the main loop for the sake of various different operating condition. The Matlab simulation shows that the novel serial control system compared with general PID serial control has excellent control performances, outstanding adaptability and robustness against model uncertainties and external disturbances
