Abstract :
The goal of this study was to develop and validate a forward three-dimensional computational model of the dilated failing heart with left bundle branch block (LBBB) to investigate how BiV pacing can improve systolic mechanical performance and synchrony. Specialized finite element methods are used for simulating three dimensional electrical propagation and mechanics.
