Abstract :
A comparison of state and event observation techniques that lead to a periodic, time driven operating system are given. A brief description of the system and hardware is presented. A description of the objectives and goals of the operating system and its implementations. Some applications are enumerated, and the conclusion contains discussion on the performance and future objectives
