Abstract :
The most efficient solar cells, used in space, have been expensive. Many types of solar panels were developed from various materials to maximize solar cell efficiency and make space missions more successful. As milestones have been reached throughout solar cell development, records have been kept to note the improvements in efficiencies. A compilation and analysis of record solar cell efficiencies over time might be helpful to researchers, specialists, historians, and professionals that rely on such lists.
