Abstract :
We describe how we evaluated the Intelligent Transportation Systems Architecture developed by the Rockwell Team in Phase I of the National Systems Architecture Program for Intelligent Transportation System user services. We present the overall evaluation framework and highlight special features of the methodology, indicating how the particular character of the Rockwell architecture helped to shape the approach. We give examples of evaluation results and indicate new directions that the evaluation is taking in Phase II of the program
