Abstract :
The paper describes how the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), and Farradyne Systems, Inc. (FSI) are participating in an operational test of Travel Aid, to demonstrate the use of in-vehicle signing to improve safety in a rural environment. This project is currently under construction and is located along the Snoqualmie Pass, roughly 50 miles east of Seattle, Washington
