Abstract :
Dynamic process simulator which calculates the dynamic response of plant states is widely used for operator training, plant design and analysis, etc. We indicate the new capability of the dynamic process simulator. The online simulator which works simultaneously with the target plant is proposed. We call such simulator as "tracking simulator". We apply the tracking simulator to a simple heat exchanger system and methane steam reformer for fuel cell. We obtained a good result of the tracking performance of tracking simulator by both experimental studies
