Abstract :
Automotive panel (AP) information model (IM) is a key of die CE and intelligent manufacturing, the completeness and correctness of IM sharply affects the all task phases of product development. By analyzing AP shape features, a sorting method based shapes and construction features was presented, a five-hierarchical AP integrated IM driven by knowledge was established, an integrated knowledge AP information exchanged frame based intelligent-concurrent design was put forward. For searching a general feature supporting all task phases of development and an information exchanged bearer of all application areas, a sorting model was brought forward by means of shape feature bearer, application feature constraint and domain knowledge features transfer, its mathematical expressing model and knowledge representing frame were built. Finally, feature technology and KBE fused into AP information modeling, the product IM of integrated knowledge based feature mapping was set up. The model contributes to sharing and exchanging information of all lifecycles, die intelligent-concurrent design, shortened development cycle and improving AP quality
