  • Abstract
Permanent magnet linear synchronous motors (PMLSM) is much superior to the traditional ones driven by rotating motor with the transition elements, but its control system is much more complex. To the model uncertainty and disturbance in grinding, a robust velocity controller was designed according to the frequency characteristic of the system and the design objectives. The Bode of the sensitivity function and the direct-forward transfer function was presented to demonstrate the disturbance rejection and robustness performance of the system. Simulation and experiment results demonstrate that the designed system is robust stable. Compared to original fluid driving system, the PMLSM driver had smaller steady-state error and better performance to reject disturbance
