Abstract :
In that paper, on the basis of WRF 3.3 model and 0.5°×0.5° NCEP reanalysis data, two thunderstorm processes occurred on June 7, 2011 and June 8, 2011 are simulated, and the pattern field and some physical diagnostic parameters are analyzed as well. It illustrates that, the sudden acceleration of northwest wind at middle and low level of troposphere and the wind field´s cyclonic shear are two important factors to trigger the thunderstorm. The convergence of surface wind field and low level wind field at troposphere provide advantageous conditions for convective action of thunderstorm. High convective available potential energy(CAPE) supplies sufficient energy for the development of thunderstorm. In the above case study, the CAPE and TT index could be used as the energy factor for the analysis and forecast of thunderstorm processes in Beijing area. The field of vorticity at 700hPa corresponds well with the time and position of thunderstorm occurrence, and it can be used as the dynamic factor for analysis and forecast.
