  • Abstract
    A kind of flying saucer can equivalently fly without the consideration of the effect of sideslip, because it has unique geometry shape. According to this character, its aerodynamic data of sideslip can be converted by aerodynamic data without sideslip. So it can largely reduce the number of wind tunnel test, and save the cost of test. This paper deducted the converting formula that gets aerodynamic data of sideslip from aerodynamic data without sideslip, and validated converting formula by numerical simulation, because the data calculated by the formula were consistent with the data got by numerical simulation. The form of converting formula is simple, and easily understood. It can be used for reference to the development of flying saucer
