  • Abstract
    Autonomous navigation is one of the most important issues in wheeled mobile robots since it determines the intelligence of robots. In this paper, we summarized some recent navigation approaches from the view of sensor selection, map building, localization and path planning. Finally, the future works in navigation field of wheeled mobile robots are prospected.
