Abstract
The authors present an introduction to sensitivity analysis and to output stability of controlled asynchronous motors. It is shown that both calculus procedures represent an important preliminary analysis to be performed for all controlled electrical motors to define the suitable accuracy of the used control technique and to evaluate the proper accuracy required to control loop components in agreement with the accuracy of the technique. The authors deal with sensitivity analysis for vectorial algorithm controlled asynchronous motors and summarize with particular emphasis on the more useful results obtained for the well-known field oriented control technique. Formal expressions are given for electromagnetic torque variations, which follow the uncertainty in motor parameter identification and the deviation of the phase of the input motor current instantaneous symmetrical component
