  • Abstract
In this paper, a direct three-phase model is used in the transient performance analysis of a three-phase induction motor with SCR-controlled supply. The model elaborated enables the prediction of motor performance in both transient and steady-state operating conditions without the need to invert the machine inductance matrix during the calculations which avoids the only inconvenience of this method. Numerical and practical results are given
