Abstract :
The author seeks to find answers to the following questions. What are the biological and medical functions of infrared rays? What are the effective wavelength and frequency and strength? What is responsible for the infrared absorption in the living systems? Is the biological process a thermal effect or non-thermal effect? Finally, what is the relation between the processes and the medical functions of infrared rays?.
