Radiation levels and protection near broadcast antennas

The Broadcasting Directorate of Telecom Australia recently issued the latest in a series of working practices designed to protect people from exposure to excessive levels of RF radiation. The work practices aim to keep exposure of staff, contractors and the public to radiation as low as reasonably achievable, in addition to meeting the maximum exposure levels (MEL´s) recommended in AS 2772-1985.
