Abstract :
In this work, the impact of noise in the parametric identification of synchronous machine two-axis equivalent circuits using SSFR data is analyzed. Equivalent circuits of one and three damper branches are used to model the synchronous machine. Noise is synthetically included into the SSFR data previously obtained from a finite-element simulation. A uniform probability density is used to include two noise ratios in a synthetic way. Quantitative results show differences in the values of parameters. Nevertheless, no significant impact was found when comparing the frequency response of equivalent circuits with the same number of damper branches obtained from SSFR data with or without noise
