Abstract :
This paper presents a square structure box cavity based on a closed strip loop and its numerical analysis. The analysis shows that this kind of cavity is suitable for multilayer filter and can be used in both microwave and millimeter wave bands under different exciting schemes. Also, double degenerative modes may be used in designs of filters for merge/or connect with microwave monolithic integrated circuits due to the square section of the cavity.
