Abstract :
A new type of PV panel employing Embedded CPV with an Internal Tracker allows for an extremely competitive low cost solution to solar power. The panel utilizes a novel tracking scheme based on a Rotational Prismatic Director or RPD. The design and operation of the RPD is discussed as well as the design and cost effectiveness of an Embedded CPV panel using this technology.
